Deno Situation is Crazy

When Deno first burst onto the scene, it promised a cleaner, secure, zero-config future for JavaScript without the endless headaches of a bloated dependency folder. But lately, the narrative has shifted completely, and in the eyes of many developers, Deno is officially dead. I was told it is not good for serious production work, and seeing my friends already move their projects over to pnpm proved that the momentum has truly shifted elsewhere. While native TypeScript execution and built-in tooling sounded revolutionary on paper, the ongoing friction with real-world package compatibility kept it from becoming the daily driver developers actually needed. Deno certainly forced the JavaScript ecosystem to evolve, but practical reliability and modern tools like pnpm ultimately won out.
